Privacy

Privacy and data protection.

In short: this website uses no cookies, ads or tracking. The details you send with an enquiry are only used by Apartmaji Rabič to answer you and for your stay.

1. Who controls your data

The controller of your personal data is Apartmaji Rabič, Nuška Cokan s.p., Stara Fužina 217, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero, Slovenia. Email: info@rabic.si, phone: +386 41 394 061.

2. What we collect and why

Enquiries. The letter on the Contact page stores nothing on the website: the button opens your own email app with a ready message that you send yourself. From that message, your name, email address, phone number (if given), dates, number of guests and your message are used so that Apartmaji Rabič can answer you and prepare your stay. The legal basis is your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The stay planner. The calculation on the home page (who's coming, number of guests, date) runs only in your browser and is not sent anywhere. When you click through to the enquiry, your choice is carried in the address of the Contact page so the letter is already filled in.

Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived logs for security and to deliver the pages. Cloudflare also records anonymous visit statistics on the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics): which pages are opened, how fast they load, the browser type and the country. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and builds no visitor profiles.

3. What we don't use

No cookies, no ads or tracking, no embedded maps or videos. Fonts are served from this site, so apart from the Cloudflare statistics above, viewing it sends no requests to Google or other third parties. The "Open in Google Maps" link only opens Google when you click it.

4. How long we keep data

Enquiries are kept as long as needed to answer you and for your stay; invoicing and guest registration data are kept as long as the law requires.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To exercise them, write to info@rabic.si. You can lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
