Krstenica is known as one of the best viewpoints among the Bohinj pastures. Locals call it the pasture for lovers. Next to the dairy stands a renovated hut you can rent.

The hut

The whole hut, or just the upper floor.

The hut (a "stan" in Bohinj) is near the dairy on the pasture. You can rent the whole hut or just the upper floor: a room with two bunk beds, a wood stove for heating, a gas cooker and bed linen.

From Krstenica, trails lead up Krsteniški stog, Jezerski stog, Prevalski stog, Ogradi, Debeli vrh, Škednjovec and Mišelj vrh, and even Triglav. The Laz, Dedno polje and Velo polje pastures are close by.
